Whole 30 creamy ground turkey Chili

January 17, 2019 By Erica N Leave a Comment

Hi guys.  I started my year off pretty good, trying to stay healthy.  Making sure that I’m feeling good, of course, I had to start with detoxing my body.  Not that I eat bad most of the time, even been doing very well prior to the new year.  Mostly eating healthy and occasionally not, I think anything in moderation is not bad.  Since doing whole 30 has changed my body and overall health, I’ve really been trying to get more people to also try it out, so far I have convinced more than 10 others to start their Whole 30 Journey.  It makes me very happy to help others jumpstart a healthier lifestyle.  With that in mind, I’ve been cooking up lots of whole 30 foods and writing recipes that I want to start sharing.  Whole 30 can be very difficult with all the restrictions, but as time goes you start seeing and trying new foods that you normally wouldn’t, plus there are so many stores that sell products and foods for whole30ers.  Like Primal Kitchen, Tessamae, Garrette Valley, and Applegate, lots of products from Thrive Kitchen and my fav Trader Joe’s.  I mostly shop trader joes and fresh thyme, they are definitely my go to stores.  I’m actually eating more foods than I normally do, but because it is healthier I’m able to eat more and get fuller, without the side effect I get from eating crappy, super starchy foods, like bread, pasta, dairy, sugar, and grains.  This whole 30 creamy ground turkey chili is one of my new recipes, with most of the products from trader joes.  I worked on this chili several times until I found the perfect balance for my liking, it’s creamy, easy and filling.  It comes together in an instant pot, if you don’t have one, it can always be made on the stove or in a slow cooker.  Actually, I don’t know what I did before I got an instant pot, thank you, sweet hubby, this was a great and useful gift.  This recipe will be the first in my whole 30 recipe series, so check it out, try it and comment with any thoughts on this recipe.

Thank you,
