If you are curious to know what makes me unique and certainly different (of course we are all different from one another in some way :), I have lived on three different continents from Africa to Europe to North America. It is the culmination of influences from these places such as Ghana, Holland, and now the United States (Michigan) that I am most grateful for and cherish the most.
As for family, my husband Michael (who’s pretty awesome) has encouraged me to start this blog. Yin and yang, he’s my biggest fan yet a “wannabe” food critic (lol). So I apologize in advance if you happen to read about me having to kick his butt (totally kidding but not really). Last but certainly not least there is my love bunny and 5 old daughter Ava. Like her father, shes all things sweet but loves making a mess and has the attitude to match. We fittingly call her “team too much”.
That said, I’m a recovering bread, rice and pasta addict. Love all things a Avocado. 2 years after starting my blog I discovered the Whole30 Program and the Paleo diet, they changed my life. So join me on this journey of life as I document the foods I cook, which range from Whole30, Paleo, Food Freedom, and the wonderful moments I share with those I love. Hopefully, in return, I am able to lend a breath of fresh air!
Best Regards,
Erica
