Alright So from previous posts I talked about going on the whole 30 journey. Whole 30 is a way of eating that helps you reset your body. For 30 days you cut out all Grains, Beans, Legumes, Dairy, Bread, ect., only eating Meat, Seafood, Vegetables, Fruit in moderation, Sweet Potatoes, and White potatoes. Also leaving out any products that contain some type of sugar/sweetner whether natural i.e honey or not. So though its pretty restrictive, it helps you determine what you are eating that causes certain ailments in your body, the way you do that is to slowly reintroduce foods back into your body and see how your body reacts. I did this mid May to Mid June. Initially it was hard but I got used to it, even Mike took part in this. I saw food a bit differently, and my body felt better. My joint pain had improved, my body aches and skin issues had all improved. After the first round I went to California, tried to mostly still do whole 30 but didnt stick to it. Some of my issues are starting to return so I’ve decided to go Whole 30 round 2. I think this time it will be easier because I was able to go through it all the first time without quitting. One of the first meals I ate this time around is Whole #30 ground turkey lettuce wrap with walnuts. This recipe ia quick, healthy and light, I added a few slices of WaterMelon. This recipe will satisfy your pickiest toddler, like my Ava.
